Mediabridge - VGA to Component Video Cable - 12ft - Gold Plated Pro Grade RCA Connectors Overview

Mediabridge Premium 12ft VGA to RGB Component video cable for use with monitors or projectors. Connects PC or laptop to LCD projector, HDTV, and other Y / Pr / Pb component RGB display systems. Mediabridge's 14 pin VGA connector eliminates the unnecessary 15th pin; which in all VGA connectors is a dummy pin and has "No Connection". Eliminating this pin, allows the connector to be backward compatible with older VGA ports while still having all of the latest VGA technology. Your display system MUST SUPPORT COMPONENT VIDEO (Y, Pr, Pb) SIGNAL OUTPUT function in order for the image to display properly. The "TV-out" feature on video cards is required; please check your video card output specifications for compatibility. You will also need to set your resolutions of both components to match. Using the native PC resolution is optimal. Also most PCs or Laptops will require some sort of toggling to select the TV or projector to be used as the monitor. Please consult your user guides and manuals to be sure this cable will be compatible with your existing systems prior to purchasing.
